Sample Screening

PCR Test - “CFXRealTime”

To begin Search customer, certain prerequisites must be met:

  • You must have a provider account;
  • Have the appropriate permissions:

  • Be associated with the service of the appointment;

Sample within the Acceptance Criteria

  1. Access the Appointment Module, then select the Search customer tab.
  2. Make sure “Exam” is selected on the checkbox.
  3. Click on the Scan sample barcode field and scan the sample barcodes or type the desired exam’s number and click “Search”.

Note: If you don’t have access to a barcode scanner, you may search with E-mail or document ID in the “Customer” checkbox and select the desired appointment/exam for it’s Sample Number. Copy it and use on the step above.

  1. Verify the patient’s data, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. In Exam samples, click the blue button ”✓” in the Actions column.
  3. Select Stored Sample, then in Physical Location, select the equipment where this sample will remain until processing.

Note: This location will be visible to clients when they view their appointment.

  1. Click the Save button.
  2. Select the option “Do you want to verify the sample?” and click Accept.

Note: The Remarks field can be used to add information.

  1. Click the Save button to complete the process.

Sample Outside the Acceptance Criteria

  1. Access the Appointment Module, then select the Search customer tab.
  2. Make sure “Exam” is selected on the checkbox.
  3. Click on the Scan sample barcode field and scan the sample barcodes.
  4. Verify the patient’s data, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. In Exam Samples, click the blue button ”✓” in the Actions column.
  6. Select Stored Sample, then in Physical Location, select the equipment where this sample will remain until processing.

Note: This location will be visible to clients when they view their appointment.

  1. Click the Save button.
  2. Select the option “Do you want to verify the sample?” and click Reject.
  • The option “Do you want to resample?” will restart the appointment, requiring the screening process to be repeated, making it necessary to go through the Resampling process.
  • The option “Do you want to cancel the appointment?” cancels the appointment, requiring a new service to be created for that patient. In this option, filling out the Reason field is mandatory.
  1. Click the Save button.

ELISA and Rapid Test

  7. In the Sample Collected by: field, select the provider responsible for the collection.
  8. Click the Save button.
  9. Select Stored Sample, then in Physical Location, select the equipment where this sample will remain until processing.
  10. Click the Save button.
  11. Select the option “Do you want to verify the sample?” and click Accept.

Note: The Remarks field can be used to add information.

  1. Click the Save button to complete the process.
